LAX, SFO, NY Kennedy and, I think, Chicago are all preparing for or are ready for the 380 and expect to be some of the first airports handling this plane.
Chicago will not be ready to accomodate the A380. If they reconfigure the runways and expand as part of the improvement project, it is on the drawing broard, but that is at least 10 years away. FWIW, Chicago has limitations on A340-600 operations as well. The length of the A/C would make it stick out into the taxiways.
