I thought so too but having just redeemed 195,000 miles for three x-ATH via LHR to "North America" NCW to FIRST upgrades I beg to differ. That was rather a mileage hungry moment for someone used to 25K MFUs and the occasional amex 2 for 1.
Anyway in answer to the question I'll have the miles thanks. Like most of you, I'm hooked, you see, so its not my fault!
