A 50th percentile male (or even 80th percentile male) can stand in the aisle of a CRJ. In seat width and pitch they are equivalent to mainline aircraft. <Yes, I am aware of the discomfort caused by the vanishly thim armrest and lack of shoulder room.> So we're arguing that the division between 'real' aircraft and regional jets is determined by overhead space, perhaps the ability to accept a 22" roll-aboard?
