But when I called up Clubcard, they said they had no records of the transaction, & that their computers cannot send/recieve emails etc., she then gave me a customer services number, but I didn't bother writing it down, as already on the phone for 20 mins in the office here.
Annoying thing is, my fiancee's temporary card has got the points, even though ordered 3 days after me - which I kept re-iterating to them, as they tried to fob me off with 'will appear on your next quarterly clubcard statement', even though they had no info. on it.
P.S. I'm starting to believe that all Tesco staff, be it from Checkout or Clubcard, are trained to fob off the customers by simply saying 'Looking at your point balance, you have been credited the points'. Think I'll try this with our suppliers.
I sent a detailed email message through the Tesco clubcard website about missing points (explaining that some had posted and some not and giving them all the detail). Just got the usual fatuous "Will show on your next statement" response. In the past this route has produced reasonble results (missing Powergen pts etc). Havent currently got the energy to pursue further. Will resume after Easter.
