This look much better than everything I have found so far. The Schwertgut look very nice. Could you give me an advice what districts in Zurich are best to live in? Quiet, close to the center, "green",... And I assume that district 1 is the city centre (Bahnhofstrasse)?

Hello,

Well Zürich does not have, like so many cities around the world, slums or real bad areas. There are the obvious choices, of course, like 1, 8, 6, 2 and especially the Seefeld area in 8. It is more a question of how much one wants to pay...

Zürich is a quiet city as soon as one avoids the main thoroughfares. You may live right in the center of town and have total quietness. If one is looking for a nice view, No. 8 and 6 are the most obvious, if you want to be close to the lake, No. 8 and 2.

Many like the outskirts like the Höngg area, a prolongation of No. 6 along the river. The quality of life is high, but the tram ride into the city is long and boring. You also may consider the outskirts of the city as sometimes one gets into the city faster with the S-Bahn as if one was at the end of No. 3 or 5...

Keep in mind that the public transport system is outstanding.

Don't hesitate to ask more questions.
