the logic is pretty basic. two rows were removed to create MRTC, and now one of those two rows is being added back in the current set of changes to the MD80, 737, 767 and 777 fleets. it's simply not accurate to call the net result LRTC. moreover, exit rows are pretty much fixed, so the added row must fall either fore or aft of them. the other side remains unchanged from the MRTC config.

so yes, the odds of elite-level flyers actually having to endure a seat with LR remain pretty slim.
