Well, it depends on WHEN you use.
Air ticket price from Japan to Europe during summer season goes up to 1500 EUR + tax. During winter season, it goes down to 400 EUR + tax.
Of course, it is up to you how you use your miles/points.

Aeroplan Online *A Award booking system, both FRA-ALA, ALA-ICN routes are not so popular. I can find award seat almost every flight.
