This happened to me multiple times.

Often, when there is a schedule change, the computer would insert the new flight and temporarily "forgot" the original flight supposed to be replaced.

It would take days to sort this out. Usually if I waited few days then everything would be back to normal.

Occasionally, I won't like the new schedule then I would call NW to suggest a substitute schedule. Most of time the elite line agent would assist.....
