And the hotel is a great value. But bear in mind the walls are very thin, the rooms are small, and the HVAC was not working very well when we were there. But the beds were very very comfortable. It kicks ... for US$27 a night. Yes, you can walk to Recoleta, and we did lots of walking. But for US$3 you can get almost anywhere in a taxi.

We had such a great time on our first trip that we're taking a second visit in just over a week. Not staying at the Ibis this time. A few days at Bobo hotel in Palermo Viejo and a few days at NH Latino. We stayed at Latino last time. We liked it. Big room. Big bathroom. Very modern. All a great value at $65US. Come to think of it, just about everything in BA is a great value if you're paying with US dollars. Probably explains why we're going back to Argentina so quickly instead of Europe.
