You stated that you book rooms for 2 people "as the price is the same", but be careful because this isn't always the case. I've just booked four nights at the SGS next week using a SPG50 award. The 50% off comes off the Rack rate and for a deluxe room this is $250 per night for one occupant and $290 per night for two. Still a pretty good deal though as it comes out cheaper than the best available rate for a standard room, has all the frills like free internet and, best of all, still attracts stay credit and starpoints. (Looks like I'll make the 10 for 10k: yippee!)
