Ok Pal's menu changes every 4 months. As a frequent flyer of PAL, I usually request food different from their menu as simple as that. PAL's 747-400 business class seat has been refurbished it went down from from 38 seats to 32 seats, the seats' pitch went up from 45" to 50", and it has PTV. First class in 747 has around 150-155 degrees. But in Airbus 340 it has only 12 seats that reclines 180 degrees ( flat ). PAL's hospitable F.A.'s are a lot better than any american F.A.'s. As for the FFP, You can only use your mileage within Philippine airlines flights only, but hey, you can fly F class LAX-MNL-LAX for 3k vs. 5 k- 10k to other major carriers. Lulu, Lucio Tan is a very good businessman / person and would really do anything to uplift PAL's name among major carriers you see nowadays. I don't work for PAL, but I travel once a month LAX-MNL-LAX route.
