I am sure this has been posted a million times, but I can't get the hang of the Google search features. It pulls up a bunch of false positives.

My wife and are looking to go to San Francisco this weekend to use a free weekend.

We are thinking of staying in the city Friday and Saturday night then going up to the Sheraton Petaluma on Sunday.

Can anyone give a quick rundown of which of the hotels you would choose between the St. Francis, the W and the Palace?

We have both been to SF and if I remember correctly the W is not exactly in a great location for seeing the city on foot, but we would overlook that if the hotel itself is much nicer.

Another note is that we will have a car. Any parking recommedations would be welcomed.
