Three agents told me that if mileage upgrade waitlists aren't upgraded 24 hours prior to check-in you will be revert back to the standard EUA procedure, losing any priority you have.
The same three agents also told me that if waitlists aren't cleared 24 hours prior to departure to immediately call CO and have the waitlist cancelled. If EUA gives you the upgrade, you'll lose your 15k miles even though its your elite status granting you the upgrade and not your mileage.
