Keep in mind that when flying UA metal and flights and posting your flight to Aeroplan, AC must honor UA policy for posting miles and specifically Q miles. UA does not play games like AC and gives Q miles for the lowest economy fares S and T. As you also probably know already, you will also be allowed to choose you seat in E-Plus and not be charged as in AC's Tango class.
