In my discussions I have been told that KLM FD is very worried about the affect all this is going to have on its customer base. 33% of FDs are from the UK 50% Netherlands. They are aware that many UK FDs use KLM because of the program and so put up with a non direct flight. They have told me that they are very much fighting on this basis which indeed leads me to believe that they are being forced to do things they would rather not.
