Hilton Towers in Chicago always recognized Hhonors status which I earned from staying there so many weekends at the PL rate. A few years ago they had a $20 match from American Express on bids (boy do I miss that) from www.biddingfortravel.com I knew it took a $47 bid to win so it cost $27 a night. After we made Gold we were always assigned to the executive level and breakfast, snacks, soda and water were all free in their executive lounge. It was quite a deal for a very nice hotel in a great area which usually goes for around $250 a night.
