I agree with the earlier post, the hotel itslef is pretty good, but the location is terrible. While I was staying there, a manager at the Pizza place across the street was shot and killed during a robbery.

I Would recommend the Residence Inn in New Haven. It is in a quieter part of town along the waterfront near I95 and is only a short drive to Yale.
