Post Hilton "Member Stays" Tracking System

Stayed at The Grace Hotel Sydney (the defacto Hilton in SYD while the never-ending renovation for the Sydney Hilton continues) on 30 November 2004 and waited to see the stay credit to my account. It didn't by 28 February 2005, so I mailed in in the Folio to Hilton HHonors Service Centre Sydney for crediting.

I received this morning a print-out from Hilton indicating that it had been credited. What SURPRISED me was the fact that they sent me a copy of the Hilton print-out (they use a system called Polaris Beowulf) as well as the level of data incorporated in the report.

It listed a precis of my last 5 Hotel stays, dates, cost, credit card used, double dipping partner and points. It also includes in a summary area, current year stays and nights, previous year stays and nights and Lifetime stays.

My Grace Hotel stay was there (having been manually entered into their system [adjusted] by the CS representative rather than the ACTLOAD system generated entry).

Was this meant to be sent to me (rather than the letter that I was expecting), I don't know...but I was loved knowing what they know about me...

Has anybody else experienced this??
