I had planned on staying there, but decided not to for budgetary reasons. However, I did visit the hotel while I was there, and I was fairly impressed (though not blown away). It's a little isolated from the central area of the city (i.e. Rambla), but there's enough nightlife there if you wish to partake in it. I've heard that some of the clubs go until very late, and it becomes a distraction to the people in the hotel trying to sleep. But other than that it does look like a good hotel. Make sure you get the sea view room. It's incredible. Enjoy Barcelona.
