Any surface segments must be included in the mileage count, hence the same mileage coming up for you.
It may be worth a quick visit to TAP's website and see where they fly to in Sth Am from LIS. Can only be a matter of days before they are officially permitted as part of the RTW's.

The only other option I can think of is to return to BCN as your end point. A lot less miles coming from Asia to get there than over to MAD. Remains to be seen if the seperate fare you need to buy from BCN-MAD comes in under the cost between the STAR1 and STAR2 fare if you stay over the 29,000 limit.
Routing SIN - VIE - BCN will get you under the 29K. I get 28,940 miles.
