I bought in early February for a LAX/JFK flight last week, and cleared immediately using a CR1. I guess it depends on which flight and which day. The fact that I bought an S fare means the loads were pretty light when I bought it, but the flight ended up going out close to full...but then again, I wouldn't have booked the flight if I couldn't clear immediately.
