If you were planning on stopping somewhere in Mexico (or perhaps somewhere else in Central America) that had direct AA-metal service both from LAX and to MIA or FLL, where would you stop... (I'm trying to find nice, new stopoevers for my next OneWorld explorer)

BTW, since I'll be flying during the first two weeks of August, I already realize that I can't go to SJO...
