CX 2300 usd
AC 4500 usd

I did try the AC non stop last Aug and after a 12 hour delay in HKG, with no compensation even offered, I swore I promised myself, I would rather swim, but my wife hates the stop in Vancouver where you cant get off the plane. Is almost double the price worth the non stop and rotten attitude of the UA staff in HKG who could not care less about their allience partner?
AC prices higher on most of the TransPac routes because their acft are full full full. I think once they get a little additional lift that we'll see some pretty good deals, but my guess is that new capacity is at least 8-9 onths away. Have you looked at YYZ-NRT on AC and TG for NRT-MNL?
