I cannot confirm this. I heard it from someone who used to work for UA (non-management), so this may not be accurate at all. It is regarding our beloved
"United Connection".
UA actually paid a user group to study whether average users would prefer a web-based reservation tool (United.COM) vs United Connection. The result showed a peference over United.Com, and United Connection was pulled. I am sure the result of the survey was not the only reason United Connection was pulled; however, I question the selection of the user group and survey questions asked.
