Remember that the retro registration site for Hertz is run by Hertz themselves. It therefore wouldn't surprise me if it is actually Hertz that handles the claim and not SAS. Did you fax the information to Hertz or SAS?
I've never dealt with Hertz claims myself, but with RICA Hotels (wonder if they can ever get any credits right? ), and it is always RICA themselves that handles the claims and retroregistration, and SAS are usually clueless about any of it!
I would contact Hertz about all this as it is them that has to let SAS EB know about your rental and hence point earning activity.
