I was in the first row of WT+ for a recent flight from HKG-LHR. It's ok. There is enough room to get out from the window without waking the aisle (barely) and the loo in front is for CW if I recall.

Unfortunately, a lot of people from WT go up and use it, and when they do they pull back the curtain exposing this row to the lights of the galley. Kind of annoying. Plus a bit of noise. I did manage to sleep, but not as well as CW.

I was hoping for an op up on this route also, more so than normal as BA's North American desk misled me when I purchased my ticket and although they admitted the error, couldn't do anything but "note on my account that I tried to upgrade but due to their error could not" so they claimed. Coach was packed on my flight, but there were enough in WT+ that they didn't need to start moving people forward.

One other note, and others may disagree, but I've found the BA planes on the HKG route, and most other Western carrier's planes to Asia to be pretty run down. With the exception of Cathay, the aircraft I've flown over here (JAL, ANA, United, BA, Korean) have all been through a lot--just felt dirty, old, tired. Not like some of the new 777s on the European routes that feel fresh. Maybe it is just me.

If you have 100k miles, you can get a roundtrip on Cathay in business to HKG, by the way...
