I flew out Saturday on the 7:00am JFK/LAX flight in 10D.
Returned today from SFO on the 12:20 in 6A.

I was going to sit in Y on the outbound. Wanted to give it a try.
When I arrived at the gate at 0630, the agent said that she'd been paging me.
I saw multiple boarding passes on her desk. I know what that means.

They hand me 10d . In all the years of flying transcons, and all the years reading about everyone's op-ups, I never had the pleasure of an op-up until that flight.

The agent said that since the P.S. flights have less seats, they've been op-upping more than ever. Time to re-think booking times in the future.
