Question China Airlines - still unsafe?
I see China Airlines has some amazing fares to Asia ex IAH (probably other cities as well, but didn't look).

I'm aware of their past safety record, but also seem to recall reading that they have improved their maintenance. The IAH-TPE flight shows an A340 with a stop in SEA.

So do I take a chance on this amazing fare, or do I suck it up and pay for a carrier with a better safery record.
