If you want a downtown Vancouver hotel (which is what I would recommend if you are in Vancovuer for a vacation and want to see all the sites) then go Priceline 4* - I just got the Hyatt for mid March fro $55.US a great rate.
Best price I could do on either the internet or direct with the hotels was a 3* for $99.
