Based on the Uniform Resource Locator and the context of the
Manila Bulletin article itself, it was dated just last week, 7 Mar 05.
I like to fly Cebu Pacific (5J) because my wife is from the Visayas, and I can earn NW miles.
I, too, visit the 5J website fairly often, but have never seen international flights offered for booking online.

^ ^ Hopefully, someone from UA will read this thread. It really does come down to whether the fares in the HKG-MNL market can support the service. But if it works for SGN, . . . .
Anyway, I think many, many customers would like to see LAX-HKG service, so it just depends on how UA can crunch the numbers.
