Do these generalizations really hold water? Here's an experiment: go to a mall. Not just any mall, but a mall that, as Chris Rock would say, white people used to go to. Find the play area for kids. Are these kids really better behaved, on average, than rich L.A. kids? In my experience, no. I see no such pattern.

My credentials: lots of trips to the kids' "pond" at Hilltop Mall in Richmond, CA and several visits to the FS Maui.
