Fill out an award tranfer miles application... It is not possible to transfer miles outright, but you are able to tranfer awards.

For example, you could not transfer 5000 miles to someone who is holding 10,000 and then take those 15,000 miles to use towards an upgrade. But if the person tranfers 15,000 miles to the second person, that person can obtain an upgrade.
