That was not the subject being discussed, but since you introduce it those lines do represent an equal exposure. The salient considerations are whether those lines are necessary and unavoidable. Maybe they are, maybe not. The lines generated by TSA security in the opinion of some, do not meet those criteria. Case in point: were there ever 100-yard long lines along the sidewalk outside LAX T1 prior to 9/11 ?

And continually categorising our dissatisfaction with the TSA as whining says more about your mindset than it does about ours.
