[QUOTE=mywifeisincoach]Perhaps the pax have just gotten that much worse. I mean, how low are these ticket prices these days anyways? QUOTE]

Certainly not as cheap as they were a year ago (to Europe out of IAH). International fares seem to be creeping up and if CO wants to hedge its bets on International because that is where the bucks are...they need to make sure they haven't driven away all the customers 'during the bad times'.

I haven't flown CO internationally in the last year or so but there is certainly a lot worse in Y on other carriers. CO Y seems spacious compared to LH...LH Y is the definition of cattlecar. I flew AA once to Europe and the plane was a mess.

At least there are the little private tvs in coach on CO...but the new A330s on NWA have them trumped now. I wouldn't want to fly a CO 757 internationally in Y because of the IFE issue in coach...it must have been awful when that was broken on your flight from EDI. I used to think CO Y was better than most. Now I would fly UA E+ or NWA A330 before CO right now.

Food is just going to be awful in coach to Europe anywhere I think. You see it a little bit better on European based airlines...but not much.

I flew BF once to CDG....leaving IAH it was great. Less so on the way back. My FA in BF was a bit cranky and it showed in her service. My two BF experiences iah-lgw have been good. I assume that since these were all iah-europe flight that most if not all of my FAs are iah based...perhaps that made the difference.
