FWIW... The UA SFO-FRA route is served by 744's now, so if you fly C you can go for a seat on the highly desirable upper deck. UA puts C class in their 744 upper decks as opposed to F on LH. Row 15, 16AB and 17AB are the best seats upstairs, IMO - but really there's not a bad seat up there. Consult seatguru.com for more info.
