Follow-up:

I checked on-line last night. and saw that my status changed from Silver back to Gold. I had faxed in the info ten days ago, never heard from anyone, but evidently got someone's attention. When I get the new card, it will be interesting to see if it's "Lifetime Gold".

Just goes to show, you need to stand up for what you think is right. Sometimes it works!
