FQTV and FQTS possibility?

I am making a LHR-JFK-LHR trip in Coach next week on UA and I made the reservation through United in the UK. Using my US Gold Preferred status, I was able to get E+ seats for both my travelling companion and myself.

However, I also have an NH [ANA] account which I'd like the miles to be credited to due to various reasons. When I rang United in the US just now, they told me that if I added my NH number, it would cancel out my US card: therefore, I would lose my *G status on the flights.

On Various other airlines there are two fields in the airlines computer for FFP numbers. One for the account for mileage accrual and another for Status. Does anyone have any experience with this on UA or can suggest a way of getting around it ?

On our outbound flight the availability is showing as

F6 A4 C9 D6 Y0 B0 M0 H0 Q0 V0 W0 S0 T0 K0 L0 G0

So I think I will ask nicely for Seats in UA Business or if availabilty decreases futher I might try for a VDB.

Our return flight has plenty of availability so I’m going to beg in the Coupon Connection forum for 2 UA SWU’s.

Thanks for your time and help,
