I figure if the salesman is spending time on me and I have no plan to buy a car, he or she is losing time with another customer who might purchase a car and the salesman would have a smaller paycheck that week. How else can I get my hands on 2 of these certificates (other than buy them on Ebay?)

I would just go to the dealer and say I'm here for my Marriott Bonus Bucks. It was reported back during the February promotion that many of the people didn't have to do a test drive. They just filled out the certificate and were on there way in 5 to 10 minutes.

Back in December, I was shopping for a car for my wife. I was surprised by the high ratio of sales people vs. customers. There were often 10 sales people just standing around doing nothing. Who knows, maybe they will dazzle you with their magic and you will have a new car sitting in your driveway.
