I just did IAH-LGW return and found the coach service to be just fine.

The GAs at Gatwick were a bit concerned that some British woman had just flown London-New York undercover in order to rate the various airlines that serve that route. The article, which I believe was published in last Saturday's (3-5) Daily Mail, rated CO at the bottom o' the heap.

I am concerned that EWR-based flight crews may be partially to blame; as I have noted before in several threads my experiences with EWR-based CO employees (both ground personnel and FAs) have been much worse in terms of courtesy and service than have my experiences with personnel from other stations.
