BA's economy product is quite good, and with status the usual tediousness and problems of the airport can be smoothed out with lounge access. I think you will have a good flight. Indeed, if you seat yourself into Traveler always comparing it to J/F, you will of course be absolutely miserable and hate it.

Oh, on that last Y trip, LHR-JNB, I was able to use the J/F line. I was also among the last to board with lots of space for my bag in the overheads.

Oh... don't be like the chap that was in the aisle seat with my in the window last time I was in Y. He was exceedingly annoying, as he kept on informing me how he usually flies in J and F, and this was a last minute trip for an important meeting, and he couldn't believe he did not get an upgrade as an elite, and he had not flown in steerage (as he called it) for millenia.................
