Since living in AMS for the past 7 seventh months, I have taken CO back & forth to the States three times - NW one time. The CO staff on the trans-atl flights are just rude, IMO. I just smile, say thanks and move on. I'm going to get to Newark or wherever else I'm traveling whether they are friendly or rude. I did get op-up'd once EWR-AMS in January and the FA working my section of the BF cabin had obviously not done the service many times - she was all flustered and didn't care.

Not surprised to hear about your experience. I prefer NW trans-atl. Even though they are older planes (unless you're on the A333) and, on average, their FA's are older - you can expect a very consistent product from NW. CO isn't so consistent.
