Well, in Singapore at the moment and couldn't get any better seats than 17D and 17E. Got to the airport 3 hours before the SYD-SIN flight and asked for exit row 62 or 63. The CSO at the BA check-in counter told me "Sorry, the setas are already gone". I was a bit surprised considering how early I was and how I had been told that those seats are not allocated until 3 hours before the flight. Anyway, in the J lounge I again asked about 62 or 63 and the CSO there asked me to leave my BP's with him and he would se what they could do. He then told me that those seats aren't allocated until just before the flight closes... Weird?? I am thinking it might be a bit of BA Exec Club favouritism (which I wouldn't mind if they at least told me)...

Anyway, the flight was fine however one thing did bug me a little. I asked one of the FA's could I have a peek upstairs into the J cabin (remember, I am travelling in J as well) and got a firm NO, they can't be disturbed...

Any thoughts about that?? Should I even try to get 62 or 63 on the return leg??
