I am always extremely surprise how passengers can behave the way they do on planes (like in the example you gave with the gentleman behind you and his bloody carry-on luggage).
I guess there are still a lot of individuals who feel that just because they paid a couple thousand more than everyone else, that they have the right to treat everyone and anyone with disrespect and rudeness... .
