Since my travel is mostly up and down the West Coast, I'm not getting as many miles for my bucks. A typical trip to Southern California runs about $200 and earns me about 2,000 miles roundtrip. Trips to the Bay Area or Sacto generally cost $125 to $150 and earn 1,200 to 1,400 miles RT.

I would say that my MVP status cost about $2,000. About 90% of my trips are for business and are reimbursed by clients.
