I can't advise about a "Tower" room since we had a regular room with pool view and partial sea view when we stayed there two years ago.

Regular room is large but definitely needs refurbishment... Paintings and carpet were so-so... Bathroom was rather small and also in some need of renovation. The hotel may have been renovated since 2003 (hopefully..)
Also the entrance door was very thin and you could therefore enjoy all the noises from the corridor...
