Stephen F, AAdvantage Customer Service, American Airlines and whatever supervisor he checked with are poorly trained. Call AA and speak with a different CSR or supervisor.
YUP are confirmed A and should post as F. They earn 1.5 q points and a COS bonus. I have had two YUP segments post incorrectly since November - both have been corrected by AA, though each took 3-4 initial emails (until I reached someone who understands the fare) and then follow-up calls a month later when the promised corrections (which were emailed in writing to me) had still not posted.
