I am new to the forum as well but not to flying and frequent flyer programs. If I understand your question, you are asking if there is a "club" other than the airlines frequent flyer programs that will give you miles on top of those given through the FF programs? To my knowledge, no. You can get additional "miles" through various credit card deals (UAL will give you 15,000 miles for signing up for their credit card), home financing/refinancing, and stock trading accounts which you can access through the internet.
