Dumb question but i've never used the power ports on UAL's 747-400.

If I take along my laptop and/or portable DVD player, do I simply bring the normal power cords and plug in or do I need a special adaptor and if so will the cabin attendants supply it?

I looked on the UAL website and they link you to a power gadget you can buy for $79.00 but I don't think that applies to just plugging in my laptop.

Any clarification from experienced business class or first class travelers will be appreciated.....thanks!
