I was asking a neighbour (who is a purser at LH doing flights to the US) why there is no personal IFE at the economy class.

Guess what he said: Our economy class is full most of the time. So why should LH waste money for something that most of the passengers obviously donīt miss!?!

That indeed is a fact, that is hard to beat. Personally I would (and the majority in this forum also) like to have one.
