Dear heavens, you guys are a tough bunch. OK, let's pick apart my spelling and what I chose to put in parenthesis. IT'S NOT THE ISSUE. So sorry I bothered to post a question! I was in France 2 years ago when the U.S. and France were on poor terms and I experienced some hostility at that time. I just wondered if it might be the same in Italy right now with emotions running high.
